At DeSo, we're on a mission to change all that by creating a blockchain that decentralizes social media and puts the power back into the hands of the people.

Diamond Tutorial

Jacob Van is back this week with a tutorial on Diamond.

Diamond is a powerful case study for DeSo.

Look no further than the Krassenstein twins, who once had 1.6 million followers on Twitter and didn't make any money from posting.

On Diamond, they make more money with a fraction of the audience and the reach they once had on Twitter.

They often earn hundreds in diamonds daily, giving updates on what's happening in the DeSo ecosystem.

DeSo Wins 2nd Place

DeSo won 2nd place on Smoothie.

Smoothie is a Web3 discovery-to-earn platform where you can vote on your favorite projects.

It's like a product hunt but for Web3.

There's a new group of nominees every week, and DAODAO will be on there starting August 22nd.

GemStori

GemStori is building the next generation of the DeSo frontend and recently shipped several new updates.

They now support five different color themes.

There is also a super feed that shows only posts of user follows and anyone who has invested at least 0.1 $DESO into your creator coins.

Lastly, Gemstori also supports high res PFP, NFT PFP, and cover images.

The Crypto Roundtable

Keep an eye out for Nader on The Crypto Roundtable show with Mario Nawfal.

It's the most prominent Twitter space in crypto, with the biggest names in crypto debating hot topics.‍

Nader Al-Naji will be there on August 25th, 2022.

Seelz DAO 

Seelz has partnered with Crew3 for onboarding tools.

The intent is to include DeSo blockchain inside their framework of 10+ chains for Web3 onboarding, engagement, and bounties.

Foundation Updates

The community asked for a roadmap, and we're putting one together as you read this.

We've accomplished a lot and executed everything we set out to do from our last state of decentralized social video and blog post.

However, we understand it's much easier to keep track if it is visual.

Nader called this out on-chain recently and reiterated our commitment to decentralizing social media as our core mission.

He also mentioned how periods of quiet have been followed by major exciting updates and that this time won't be any different.

MetaMask Integration

We're putting the finishing touches on this revolutionary blockchain advancement and will formally announce it soon.

Everything looks good from our end.

After that, it's simply a matter of a final review and quality check.
