Big Announcements Incoming
Messari is becoming a jumping-off point for the future of DeSo.
We will release some big news during the event.
However, we wanted to give the community an early peek at what's to come.
Nader just recently posted a series of announcements on Diamond.
The first one is a protocol for testing and executing network upgrades, including a fully-standardized process for node operators to subscribe to the latest updates.
The second announcement, "The Social Layer Fork," enables the anticipated MetaMask integration.
While we prefer to give two weeks' notice before making major upgrades, the Messari event forced our hand, considering the amount of press there.
What are the implications of the MetaMask integration?
You'll have to wait until next week to see when we officially announce it.
Lastly, we've released a draft roadmap to the community.
Next week it will be revealed in a more visually appealing format for Messari.
The following two months will be fun and exciting for all of us, and we appreciate you joining us on our journey.
You may even get more exciting news at the end of October or early November.
Consider it icing on the cake at the tail end of the rest of our announcement blitz.
If you have any questions feel free to ask us on-chain.
Messari Mainnet
Don't forget that DeSo founder Nader Al-Naji will speak at Mainnet in New York on September 23rd, 2022, at 3:25 pm EST.
The DeSo team has rented a booth for the event and will be there all three days spreading the word.
Messari is among the most significant events in crypto.
In their recent research report, decentralized social media scored the highest among seven other crypto trends.
We couldn't agree more with social media expected to reach 6 billion users by 2027.
They've also expressed interest in collaborating on additional research on the future of decentralized social media.
If you're in NY during this time, tag us on Diamond and let us know, or feel free to drop by the booth and say hello!
